As say a Dutch player I could have 5 falcs with a large skirm/halberd meatshield already in your base.

By using xp dance, you get the chance to send 3 villagers and 300 wood in dicovery. This gives you a bit of a catch up, as you can have a warhut built by the time you hit colonial. With 10 then 9 mace cards, all you really need is wood for houses that early.

I always had wp + 1/2 villager on gift dance, which allowed second shipment before aging up - 300 wood for immediate warhut. Problem with Sioux FF is you will only about 10 rifle riders + similar number of axe riders by the time they hit your base.
