Heaven has the best members IMHO. But my account was opened in 1999 so I'm a little biased.

Re: Where'd MNBob go..? Never see em anymore!
Co-worker who has been working on a poorly written application for the past 2 years decided to resign once he was finally given a deadline to get his stuff finished by the end of the month and work with the rest of us to make it happen. His leaving made me the person who has to meet the deadline. Th...

Re: India Series
U must have more than half TPs to begin with trade monopoly. Honshu has 2 TP on the main island and one on the south. So the intention of the map makers are quite clear, that it shouldn't be so easy to go to another island, turtle there like hell and wait till the other gives up totally frustrated....

Re: No N3O Banner
Speaking of which, what do we want to do with the other themes?
Leave them all? Remove them all? Settle on just a couple or few?
If the latter, which ones?

Chinese ~7:00 fast fortress
As I said in another topic, instead of posting a strat guide, I'll post some recordings. This is an all out naked (no military) Chinese fast fortress that could be used in a team strat to get to age 3 and good Chinese team cards. Keys: If possible, concentrate on collecting food and gold treasures. ...

And that's your preference. Not all civs work that way. I challenge you to play your next 10 games as Ports and only rely on your army.
Alrighty... whoever wants to challenge me to an unrated (or rated) game with me as ports... BRING IT ON! Hahah. But really I think it would be fun. Might get some interesting replays out of it as well.
That doesn't serve much purpose. Play as Ports again...
Hey guys, I know you still probably hate the font, but I've done some work on the rest of the banner, trying to make the colors fit a bit better and also making the background a little more interesting by putting some faint map outlines on it.
Tha...

Re: RTSL vs VIE
The other thing I should add is that I'm critiquing the game from ViE's perspective. The Chinese player did not have a good first game and that could have cost them. In game 2 they had a very well planned team strategy and executed it very well.

Re: RTSL vs VIE
I agree Craz. From an entertainment perspective the second game was more fun to watch.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that the first game was winnable although it obviously didn't play out that way. The second game was never winnable IMO.
I watched both, maybe I'm missing something but I thought the second game was much, much better. Not just because it was a longer game but because you guys were very aggressive with the forward and the map choice helped a bit too.
As I said earlier, ...

Re: RTSL vs VIE
Game 2... Ouch. I disagree that this game looked better. In the first game you guys had a chance because the Chinese player started poorly. In the 2nd game you were beat almost from the start. VIE had a good strategy planned and this time the Chinese player did FF. If you expect a FF you have 2 choi...
