RE PATCH
My Japan vs. his India.
I have never beaten India on the RE patch, and thanks to soooooo much help from Zutazuta, I can now out mass an indian player! game starts off as a shootout between my ashis and his sepoys, as i draw him in he loses almost his entire wave completely (big thanks to Zuta for teaching me that ). He then goes Ghurka and its a constant skirmish, plenty of huge battles, and a final push that couldve either gona completely wrong or completely right, OMG THE PRESSURES KILLING ME watch to see who wins. (P.S., I dont like posting losing rec's.) lol GG

Re: AND THE OP INDIAN ROARING BEAST GOES DOWN!!!
Umm several things caught my eye in this game
Villager distribution, there were multiple times where you would end up with 1k+food and have dwindling amounts of food and coin.
Pressure, In the early game when you managed to push him back several times you should have pushed on his base a little just to try and knock down a building or two, maybe wipe out his army.
Your explorers, I didn't notice this until later in the game but the two of them were always together, they need to stay apart and the less idle they are the more you know about your enemies army and the easier it is to counter it.
Cavalry, they are not superhero's, multiple times you ran them right into their counters (be it howdah's or Sepoy's) and they were devastated.
Army positioning, this also relates to cavalry but also to your major groups in the army. every unit needs to stay within reasonable proximity to its counter's counter. In nearly every fight your cav were either sent in to their counters or out in the open so they could be fought by their counter's without worry. There was also a time where your ashi's got separated from your yumi's which is just bad. One of the fights you had your 3 masses of units in order from back to front; Yumi, ashi, nagatina and they were pretty much killed in that order because they couldn't protect each other.
Unit matchups, In this match I would have gone heavier on cav knowing that once I had met his sepoy numbers with my ashi's that he would go gurkha. It is very similar to a musket/hussar by brit in that the smart maneuvering of cav can easily counter most anti heavy infantry and your ashi's will counter his and any cav he can conjure.
And that's about all I got, any questions feel free to ask.
