Control groups and the Logitech G15 keyboard.

--- I use some kb shortcuts when I play but I have yet to utilize control groups. What are easy ways to learn how to use them? And does anyone have any setups for a Logitech g15 keyboard for use with AOE?

control groups are pretty easy they are described in both the manual and tutorial. ctrl-1 while army selected assigns that group of units to the 1 key. works for 1-9 maybe 0 I forget.

works for buildings and units.

G2 SHIFT-CTRL-9 for getting TCs into one COntrol group
G4 selecting all idle fishing boats
G5 selecting all idle military
G6 selecting all warships
G7 Q (for producing vills, changed hotkey)
G8 9(selecting all TCs)
G9 selecting all docks
g10 selecting all barracks
G11 selecting all stables
G12 selecting all castles, artillery foundrys etc.
G13-G15 Q W E
G16-G18 A S D

I changed the hootkeys for building units to QWE ASD
like it is in the menu bar of the building represented.

G7 and G13 are the same so i don'T have to chanfe old habit which i have from a different key setting
