Re: Trade Posts
it was confirmed by ES that all TP's give the same amount of resources/sec
and I'm sure good old Cyclo covered this item in his Guide a long time ago
being a TP-junkie myself, I never had the feeling that some give more than others, however, the # of available TP's does affect the upgrade cost a bit

No disrespect, but that means nothing chaos. The travois dude running around the trade route runs at the exact same speed. The distance he covers varies from map 2 map. The amount of XP also varies from map 2 map. The Nº of TP´s also varies from map 2 map. Thus, the amount of XP/sec (which is truly the only way we can compare the whole TP situation) is also very diferent from map 2 map.
What really stands out here is that certain maps we "thought" were truly OP with regards 2 XP/sec for single TP´s rnt really what they seem. eg. Great Lakes. ( still my fav XP grabbing map tbh)

Re: Trade Posts
I know it doesn't mean all that much but still... it's an official source.
Based on my ingame experience I think it's correct.
I seriously wonder how this guy could messure it up to a tenth of a sec by running just 3 tests on each map. How do you time that?

Re: Trade Posts
This is very handy to keep in mind. I've recently gotten into the TP game (ususally to support a FF or FI as Germans), and this chart will help me determine whether it's worth my while to build a TP on particular maps.
I had no idea Yucatan was the premiere TP map. Now, if they could just make tapirs a little easier to hunt, we'd be in business :-P

A good example of having differences in TPs is deccan. You got two lines, and the shorter line is worth more (at least I think so) cause there are only two TPs instead of three, which means you need to expend less wood.
Re: Trade Posts
tp's are freaking amazing. idk why you WOULDNT get one, especially early game

thats wrong, the big road with 3 TPs give more XP, but on an average, it's the same XP/sec, so if you plan on upgrading the route, you better take the long road, as your upgrade cost will be split over 3
