Alright...
I need some Linux users to give me their views.. I'm thinking about installing Linux, and I came across an install in my PCWorld mag using VMWare Server.. So, first here are the questions..
1. Does anyone play TAD or other games on Linux? If so, any issues?
2. Does anyone have it installed on VMWare? If so, is performance poor since its a virtual machine?
3. Do you recommend having a seperate computer to mess around with Linux so I don't screw up my good PC?
4. What Linux do you like best?
You really don't have to answer every question, but if you could provide some feedback/opinions/experiences it would ultimately help me make my decision.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Linux Lovers I need your input!!
1.If u want to use Linux, keep also a partition for Windows XP. Games have a hard time on LInux. U can use Cedega or Wine ( http://appdb.winehq.org/ ) which supports some games very well but u shouldn't try Age3
2.VMWare or VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org) is for the first steps the best solution. Linux isn't just another operating system. It is different. U must learn almost everything anew
3. Virtual MAchine or seperate PC
4. Debian, for beginners maybe Ubuntu

Thanks for your response Comadevil! I know Linux is different I used it throughout my comp sci classes in college. I was more curious about the games.
ANyway, hopefully I'll see you online sometime and we can get some games in!
