Vs fast rush?

China loses to a simple iro rush so hard it's not even funny. Any ideas for BO's that can make china defense a lil faster?

call out your MM as soon as he ages and sent them to the middle of the map to kill fwd WH? Possibly combined with the card where they dont lose HP (also gives your TC + 50% which will be useful to kill the rush)

Hm. The issue with china is that you get 200f 300w always, so you won't have 100 coin for the mm. But it's a possibility, I could gather it.

How fast can china age up with the 300 food?

Normal age up that all euro civs get, around 4:30 I think. Yes, small coin treasures are good.

I've found that old han works somewhat decently, with shipped 7 steppe later for those damn aenna and the warchief. You really have to out-micro the Iro guy, as it's a damn tough matchup.

Heh, don't forget Russia. Their strelet/cossack combo beats the crap out of China. You have to kill them before they even age to colonial - otherwise, you lose.

Really? I beat a russian player quite easily. I built in my base tho, instead of getting an fb. Got some discs, waited for the 3ckn+2stp to come from wonder and beat the cos/strel/musk quite easily. He could have been noob tho

Well, I don't have a lot of experience playing at the colonel level, but at mine, I find the same thing that Nav says. I'll also say that the russian will get map control if you build in your base w/china. The only problem I see w/china vs russia is mass steppe riders (which is hard to accomplish).

I have another civ to add to the list: India. China doesn't stand a chance against them. Then again, few civs do...

I actually find Japan very easy to beat. They always go nothing but ashi, which can be hit and run with CKN very easily while the qiang burn down their shrines. If they ever happen to make yumi, just send 7 steppe. I find Japan to be one of my few "free win" opponents.
