BashUgood ~ How do you beat Xbow Spam vs. France ?

Ok Here's my game vs France with the dumb Xbow spam thing.

Any idea on how to counter this and prevail ?

Here's a few things I'd suggest,
Put 1 orchard behind TC, so you can gather when you're fighting.
Make barracks behind your TC.
Now here's the important one imo; I think you should've made more Yumi. If you were to have at first spammed them, and kept pumping them out, and making a few Ashis, you could've probably fended better earlier. You also didn't keep constant production of units, while he was pumping out from both raxes, and later both raxes AND his stable.

You also sometimes got things killed unnecessarily, like sending 5 ashis vs 15 xbows when you should've just kept them back. You also sometimes ran your nagis into pikes. Not often, but it did happen a few times. You could've also called out irregulars/sentries, and put 10 vills in TC for more defense.

Well, nearly all Japanese units beat an xbow spam. Go with yumi at first to hold him off (always harrass him), and switch to naginata later on once you can adjust your econ. Also, raid when you can. CDB are weak vs. cav.
