When to wall in your allies TC :-P
I suppose it was one game too many.
It was late; I was tired. I had complained earlier to Harley about a random 2v2 where my captain ally Port fussed at me for an early attack on my Indian wing. I was raiding gold pits, killing peons, when my ally flares my attack. I look and see no enemy units, and respond with a '?'. He says, pull back and concentrate on 'walling'.
In another game, I had an ally say I was walling "wrong", and for me to delete mine and he would "do it for me". He managed to forget to put in gates in a couple of places, so no wonder I did not support him right away.
So, in this last game of the evening, I decide to join a Xpert comp stomp to farm for XP's. Map was Sonora, and I end up separated from my allies by the trade route. I had a rung my base with wall when my nearest ally chats "look at the noob walling", "idiot, walls are for noobs".
I responded "watch it", having next to no patience left. Some time later, he puts a tower down in front of a gate; it along with a couple trees blocks my use of the gate; it takes me some time to figure this out.
Meanwhile, they start complaining about me not sending units, and I am still wandering why there is a foundation there, I cannot build it, and my units are stuck.
Finally I figure it out, but the comments from my 'friends' have pushed me over the limit.
I chat "If you like my walls so much, I will make you some".
reply: "Shutup noob"
I chat "How about I wall in your TC?"
Reply "Yeah right"
So I did  . I put a wall foundation around all of their TC's.
They cussed, fussed, and resigned.
Ahhhh, peace at last.
You see, if the host of a comp stomp resigns, the AI attack goes idle once it loses LOS to fresh meat. So I farmed away in peace, maxed out XP's, and enjoyed the best company the rest of the game.

Re: When to wall in your allies TC :-P
I think the best walling experience I have seen was in an inner-clan game where Blackadder and Djdan were on the same side on Hispaniola. For some crazy reason, dan walls in EVERYTHING of BA's. I do mean everything. There were walls all over their side of the map. I was on the other team and once we showed up with our armies to the other side of the map, we were like wth????? What's with all the walling? You never see that kind of turtle in clan 4v4's. I wish I had screen-shot the map, it was hilarious.
I hate when that happens, pale. I have to say, I've been there before. I did it once to a guy about a year ago when he took 1/2 my starting crates and was laughing at me the whole time and wouldn't tribute resources. I laughed back.

I remembered too late to wall in Tatael in a recent 3v3 clan game...he was Soiux and Mac's stealth coyotes did a number on him.

They COULD had just deleted their TC's and rebuilt them.... right?

Im filled with nostalgia. I remember doing that many, many times. They either learn the EZ way or the hard way. Walling up the enemy´s dead exporer is 1 thing but walling in ur ally´s TC is pure delight in my book. Keep up the good work bro.

Yes but dan I said that weeks before the actual game you did it and I didn't say you wouldn't do it just that only a complete and utter muppet would do it.
