What I find interesting is that in AoE, AoK, and their respective expansions, I would actually only play DM. The only time I wouldnt play DM would involve me playing custom scenarios, which I still alot 2day. The DM rooms on the Zone were also always more sought after than the Sup rooms. Strange that pretty much the entire comunity has gone from DM 2 Sup, myself included.
I do recall that playing Sup, which was actually called Random Map, "action" would only actually start after at least 10-15 mins. In Sup in AoEIII there is pretty much non stop action right off tha bat, even if it is just explorers trying 2 prove whose got tha bigger ego!
In DM, especially on ESO, action starts pretty much at 1,5 secs and is non stop throughout. It also seems alot more unfogiving, in the sense that within the 1st couple of mins ur building count is relatively small when compared 2 AoE or AoK.
Well honestly i never understood why dm is less popular on tad then treaty. If you like to fight with large armies, etc... why wait 40 mins?
+1
i'll play some DM with anyone who would like to on fp

I used to be a pure DM/scenario player on the zone as well. I don't know why, but DM back in those days just seemed more fun.
I know nothing about DM, but I would be up to try it :-P
