your Top 5 most balanced maps (2v2)

so yeah, just post your top 5 maps (standard) you think are the most balanced for 2v2.

We may or may not use it for a 2v2 tournament that might or might not happen soon

3) North West Territories
4) Siberia
5) California

1 Great Plains
2 Carolina
3 Texas (a very fun 2v2 map, imo)
4 Yellow River
5 Saguenay
6 Borneo

Good mix of land/water maps....with yellow river coming up random land/water.

1. Yukon
2. Great Plains
3. Rockies (everyone but me hates this map for some reason)
4. Himalayas
5. Mongolia

All these maps are balanced and very fun to play IMO.

I don't know if they're balanced - I probably couldn't guess that anyway. Here are five of the most fun maps (IMHO)

1) Rockies (not for more than 2v2, but this is 2v2 right?)
2) Hispaniola
3) Yukon
4) Araucatania (sp??)
5) Saguenay

By no order:

Yucatan, New England, Saguenay, Patagonia, Texas.

Maps with water spice it up a bit and add more options, and Texas is indeed a lot of fun imho.

I don't know about Mongolia since the huge number of herdables can make the map unbalanced.

Also, on great lakes, its kind of a guessing game about which side to attack. I don't really know if that means it's imbalanced, but it's something to think about.

great lakes can have terrible mine screws, dunno if it happens in 2v2 as well, but rather not have it
I agree about mongolia, civs like india really pwn on that map

Only got screwed in 1v1 games (twice - no goldmines). Never happened in a 2v2 game there.
