macafee will cause you no problems at all. I ran macafee all last year and had no problems on ESO at all, you might just have to change some settings.

Problem is that my license has past and I can't adjust things anymore
Not going to buy another license though, just gonna buy Norton

Re: Patch Tuesday!
Why buy Norton, its a pain in the a$$ to remove again and it doesn't protect anymore than the free avast or AVG (avast is nicest though). When I only had a PC, I ran avast and not once did it get a virus although there were a few attempts...
BTW, a poll at Agesanc showed that the civ most people will play in this new patch is Jap. I wonder if they're going to be OP now, Chinese is certainly not anymore. 8O Won't stop me from building hand mortars though.

Norton is Spyware and a virus itself

Re: Patch Tuesday!
I'd go for McAfee. It's good all-around and doesn't murder your computer.
Groovy.

Re: Patch Tuesday!
Macafee excluded, just hate that programm, have to allow the program every time again when a patch is updated, can't connect to comp on lan party's. Have to give a password when I start comp, just hate whole programm, my experience with norton is a lot better. But that is maybe cause norton is more simple to use for a non advanced user as me

Re: Patch Tuesday!
I tried BitDefender this time. It's OK, but their email scanning is painfully slow. I think there are some firewall bugs (which is what you seem to be pointing to). BUT, it has a "gamer mode" that you can turn on when playing to ignore all the connections BS.
I'm still not sure it's a great solution, but it's better than McAfee or Norton.
