One of the best things to do against a russia, is actually get his wood cutters. strelets take up so much housing, and you can get really screwed because of the block training. After the first battle go for vills then if you have any siege go for houses. It sounds dumb, but it's a pain to keep rebuilding them as a russian player. Keep in mind, strelets actually cost 200 wood, cause you got to build house, so if a person wants 40 strelets with out shipping them, they need 800 wood. Also keep your uhlans in small groups and hit from 3 or 4 sides and they can't run.
