Jim did make the offer - of which I would have to pay him back. I'm debating since we are getting a lot closer now to the next patch. For sure if cross server is not in it, i'm getting a EU copy from Jim.

So, I broke 1600 points now, and I'm 139 points clear at the top of silver. I also checked my SC2 ranking, and at one point, I had a world ranking of 138 in silver 4v4 random.

Ok, ok. I know it's only silver... but it sounded good eh?

i was *before i stopped playing* @ #1 with over 300 points to that of #2 and yet i wasnt getting promoted to gold

I wouldn't be so sure, I'm looking at the world rankings, and in amongst the 2k+ diamond players in 104th is a bronze league guy with over 2k points, above other diamond players.
1st is 2450.

Those 2000+ points bronze players are rare cases, though.

you can't ocmpare points across leagues. 2000 points bronze are unlucky that they didn't get promoted yet, if they would get promoted to diamond they would only have like 600 points left
