Yeah I don't understand anything of what british units say apart from Yes and Ready.

Re: Just Another Reason I Love AOE 3 !
English is my first language and I can't figure em out either
Sometimes they do say "Avaunce!" when they attack... that must be the old form of "advance." It's cool in either case. BTW, the female British settler sounds pretty mad when you tell her to attack something other than a deer... I wouldn't want to mess with a chick armed with a blunderbuss

Don't worry, she does 3 ranged damage and if you're a villager, she does 1 to you. It'd take her a good 7 and a half minutes of shooting you to kill you.
Groovy.

LOL Nav! That's true. Now, if she switched over to melee and started beating me over the head with that blunderbuss she'd kill me with 10 hand damage

Well, fortunately you can't put vils in melee mode (you have to do it manually), so all you have to do is run away.

I just remembered another one that I like: Hackapells. Where else do you get to hear FINNISH in an RTS?? That is one funky language.
"Wallamina! Yugurtka!"
BTW- Has anyone seen what 8 hackapells do to 30 LBs?

Oh, I forgot about my beloved hackapells. They're worthless as soldiers cause they die in 2 hits, but it's so awesome to watch 8 hackapells go against a crowd of villagers. There isn't much more satisfying than that.
Groovy.

Ah, I remembered another one!
If the warchiefs convert outlaw treasure guardians, they are some mean-sounding Spanish dudes! There are American versions, too, like the 10 pistoleros the Sioux can send ("Whatcha need? You got it"), but the Spanish ones are way cooler:
"Que me orbena? A - LAS- ARRMASS !!"

Re: Just Another Reason I Love AOE 3 !
I was watching an Indian replay last week and I remembered another couple good ones. Did you ever notice that most Indian troops just say "Aaaaahhhh!" when you order them to attack. Personally I like the urumi, rajput and sepoy "aaaahhh!!" The sepoy sounds really annoyed; the rajput sounds mean and angry, but maybe also slightly constipated: "aahhhhnnnhh!"
Speaking of Indians, does anyone know what "Yoot karnikliay!" means???
