I played my first game last night without lag. It's been two weeks so I was super slow in my APM but it was fun. I also need to get used to having a new UI and graphics since the reinstall and I forget all my old settings.

I only played one game with them and they seem to be more 'balanced'. Not as strong on sea/TP maps, but at least have some hope on maps like Bayou. Of the 12 civs I would place them at about 7th overall.

If u have backed up my games\Age of empires III, and put the folder back, u have ur old settings except Ekanta UI, if u installed it.

ANd the reinstall didn't seem to be so much difficult as u expected

Ekanta's UI is the best, I'm using it for quite some time. It takes some time to get used to it but you have a larger view.

One other. If you press ctrl + alt + delete twice really fast as soon as a game hits the 2:00min mark, your graphic card gets a boost.

Due to lag problems I also use the low lag homecity mod that removes hcs animation, in case anyone's interested. That's all, I think.
