You know, when I joined this clan I thought "N3O" was "Nitrous Oxide" - the gas that makes cars go faster. I was probably lead into thinking that by Cylco's name.
Now, someone told me N3O actually means "Neo". Yea right, like I'm going to believe that! :p

N3O is the AOE3 version of NEO which was the clan in AOK. (See what they did there with that 3 in place of the E? And the 3 is in AOE3 too!!!)
Anyway, a thread on our old forum posted by NEO_Crazen (hard to type Craz anymore, there seem to be a few that could qualify for that) indicated that the members of NEO on AOK were not young kids, so that NEO stood for "Never Ever Old".

Yup, Rascal pretty much has the story there. You will notice that there are still a couple of guys left in the clan who have "NEO_" before their name as it was the done thing back in the day to put your clan tag in your name.
