Re: French problems
But, you Brits have some interesting terms, like calling a trunk a "boot". And I gotta tell you, a boot is footwear. And a *** is NOT a cigarette.

The Danes and Vikings were quite annoying but we got our revenge by sacking Copenhagen in 1807.

Remind me of the vikings in AOE2, the berserkers were quite good but they only had guard towers.

Re: French problems
The military classifies languages in difficulty of learning them (1 being the easiest, 5 being the most difficult). Does anyone want to take a wild stab at what the ONLY class 5 language is?
And at the current rate, Spanish will be the dominant language in the States..

Re: French problems
To speak, I have no idea. Probably some African or South American tribal language.
To write, I'd guess Chinese.

Re: French problems
Well, do you mean to speak enough to get by, or perfectly? Cause a lot of people with English as their first language completely mangle the poor thing.
Groovy.

Re: French problems
I guess it depends where one comes from. I blame AOE 1 + 2 and watching movies for being able to speak and write English fluently today. This table suggests Arabic and a bunch of Asian language though: http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/e/ ... uages.html
