I've played on GR too but the High resolution tool is buggy there and there's no ranking system (aka broken games all the time!)

Im super noob at aoe2, Only way I can get games is to fake being pro !

The Beginners room has around 400 people and plenty of unexperienced people, you should give it a shot! Aoe2 is a mix between aoeo's economy and aoe3's military but with even softer counters. The games can be a bit long though.
