Re: N3O AoE Trivia
Next question.
What was the most dominant water civ in AOC? and why?
this may spark some debate.

Re: N3O AoE Trivia
The Vikings owned on water because of their 20% cheaper ships and their unique Longboats. Japan was decent on water because they saved wood on their lumber / mining camps and their fishing boats were a little bit better.
The Celts had the wood gathering bonus, which helped them as well. No other civs had any really significant bonuses on water, that I can think of.

Re: N3O AoE Trivia
soccerman got it, cannon galleons owned period. massed witha few whatever lighter ships front owned with their long range and increased attack speed, also meant docks, and any building anywhere remotely close to water was decimated. in all of aoc only lost one game on water playing spanish and it was ffa.
this question was definately subjective and the general census has always been vikings.

Re: N3O AoE Trivia
Well then...my question:
What unit is available in the original AOEIII scenario, but is not available in game play until the TAD expasion? I'm thinking of a specific unit.
Bonus question (you're a stalker if you get this right): In grad school I was allowed to write a term paper on AOC regarding management styles and adapting to play and how that related to management theory. Which civ did I play as against the Huns? BTW...I got an A in the class

Re: N3O AoE Trivia
Don't get cannon galleons till Imperial so I don't really agree with you Rufio . Most games on water are won or lost by that point.
In response to Soccer's question: I'm not really sure but my guess is that it's either one of the units you get from the Consulate or an Asian Native Warrior.
There's no way for me to know which civ you picked to go against the Huns, so I'll just guess that it was my favorite AoC civilization: the Mongols!
