Balance

PROTOSS

Archons are now a massive unit.

Pylon power radius has been decreased from 7.5 to 6.5.

Cybernetics Core

Research Warp Gate time increased from 140 to 180.

Gateway

Sentry train time decreased from 42 to 37.

Stalker train time decreased from 42 to 37.

Zealot train time decreased from 38 to 33.

Warp Gate unit train times remain unchanged.


TERRAN

Ghost

Cost changed from 150/150 to 200/100.

Salvage resource return reduced from 100% to 75%.


ZERG

Spore Crawler

Root time decreased from 12 to 6.


Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where Ghosts could not quickly EMP the same location.

Fixed a bug where players were still able to stack flying units on top of each other.

Seems like they are fixing the 4 gate in PvP. Anyone remember that they increased Zealot train time because the 2 gate zealot rush was too strong ? Guess what, they are decreasing their train time now, woot !

Besides that it looks pretty neutral for T's / Z's

I like the salvage change, even though I never use it.

Rest looks good tbh. What will the archon change translate 2 in practical terms?

- Archons can destroy forcefields
- Units who make extra damage vs. massive units like void rays will benefit from it vs. Archons
- Concussive shells has now no effect on Archons

yeah biggest one is that marauders won't hit n run archons till the infinity :D

noooooooooooooooo goddamnit -.-
what hte **** is that.... good job taking out 4 gate
the patch would look gret, if you'd remove this change:

Research Warp Gate time increased from 140 to 180.

aahrg, damnit -.- why not 150 or 160 seconds?? this would have been enough.
i like the pylon radius change and the archon being massive (btw good summary there coma and jerom) and the salvage :D i had that idea from the very beginning, getting the ufll 100 min back is a bit too much^^

also, since when can spore crawlers uproot like spine crawlers??

warp gate time increase seems excessive, but I dont mind it at all, Im so sick of pvp if I never play vs a 4gater it will be too soon.

and also phoenix can't lift archons anymore 8)

ye true, it's just i never saw somebody root them up so i thought they weren't given the root feature

I think the changes are Perfect! Not that only because Im bad at TvP.. Its just that it will put more varied play from P players, instead of having and going Allways for Warp gate, they now can benefit on actually just Warping in units the old school way (like in BW, you knooow what im saaaying?!).
Awell, and the salvage is actually a good change. 100% was a bit to much, even I thought so being terran.
Decreasing build time on warping units from the actual Gateway is also a nice change. Altough there will be LOADS of proxy gate All-ins now.. that is Extremely hard to stop (The name All-in have that effect).

Awell... :)
Good changes, lets see how it plays out!

every protoss build needs to be changed after the patch if the warpgate changes stay.. T_T but at the same time i think those changes are really good :)

Range increased from 2 to 3.

*These changes were revoked.

Thor
Thor now has 200 max energy, and starts with 50 energy.
250mm Strike Cannons now cost 150 energy to use (cooldown removed).

Infestor
Speed decreased from 2.5 to 2.25.


see see see?? it old you guys they will never let 180 be the final change for warpgate^^
