Re: Comp
The best is if Strokey posts here a configuration from a decent UK shop which also builds the PC for Froggy together.
Also a preinstalled windows should be considered if Froggyman feels uncomfortable with installing a OS
What is ur budget Froggy?
500 pounds?

Re: Comp
I'll have a hunt around, but to be honest, it's really hard to find a pre-built system that has all components at a reasonable level and at a decent price. Mostly you will find substandard graphics and motherboards, and overpriced base units.

Possible, but even then you are limited to specifically listed components and will have to compromise in several areas as well as pay for it to be built and set up. Still, I'll hunt around. Will have some solutions by tuesday/wednesday.
UK has no component stores like in Germany where building PCs is just side-business? U can choose ervery component in the store and just pay a fee for building it together like 20-50 Euros
Not really, mostly online shops with a small choice in each area of components. You could go to a prviate PC shop (ie: not a large chain) and they will do it, but parts will be over-priced and the charge for doing it will be too much.
