How can people like TvT? The average terran tankspamming idiot is such an annoying enemy to play. Even with the nerf to the tank's damage it is still horribly strong against any ground unit, seeing how all units viable for taking out tanks are either armored (= steamrolled by tanks) or air (= steamrolled by vikings).
Also given the terran incompetence of getting any kind of both A2A and A2G unit means that here will be no way to effectively stop siegetanks unless u mass up both vikings and banshees or tech ur way to battlecruisers, and have those decimated by enemy vikings.
Personally I'd love to see the tank removed from the game or atleast removed from TvT, but the odds to this aren't all that high in there. For that reason, I'd like to know if and what you have found to be reasonably effective against tank/viking (keep in mind that the enemy will be able complete any unit within roughly 40 seconds of scouting it, so early banshee is virtually useless).

there are alot of ways, even banshees work, like 5 or 6 in lategame, also look for hejurms post, he had some great points too.

Scan = bb ghost, also any good player will have either spotted the ghost before he got close or move away slightly (nuke radius is so much lol...)

actually you can nuke opponents tanks in a way that the tanks range doesnt reach your ghost. You only need to have like 4 or 5 of his tanks at the nukes area of effect to make him unsiege and retreat a bit. if he doesnt unsiege u get to kill those thatnk with a 100 minerals 100 gas nuke. still a win for you

I'm only lower level player, but I don't see tanks as a huge problem. As aaryn said, Banshee's can work wonders here. I've even used hellions to pick off tanks from behind the attack...
EDIT: Also in today's patch:-
Siege Tank
Siege mode damage changed from 50 to 35 (+15 armored).
Upgrade damage changed from +5 to +3 (+2 armored).

Don't know much about TvT, but I did see a cool day9 vid which highlighted a TvT match, and specifically talked about the tank players lack of mobility.
Basically he showed how tanks are so slow to respond to any type of smart drops across bases, just harassing with a much more mobile army until you can get the eco edge and take him down.
Pretty sure this is the daily I am referencing to..

Yes, just realised. Perhaps when updating in patches it may be easier if they only listed the changes relevant to that particular patch. My bad....
