N3O Age Of Empires and Starcraft 2 Clan

I've been wondering for a long time which is the better unit, under what circumstances etc.

It seems to me that colossus are better in just about any situation, they stay back and are harder to sJapanesee, it feels like they are much "cheaper" than templars (I can barely make 3-4 templars off one base, seems very expensive once their storms run out) and are much easier to tech to, imo robo is far more useful than council.

Any thoguhts? ideas? recommendations on how I can use/tech to templars better?

Like day9 says templars and colossus are both very good but colossus is just must easier to get. If you go HT u first need council then temp archives and then research storm so it will take very long to get templars with storm out. Also, most of the time u have that robo for obsservers alrd so its natural to tech to colossus. But then again if you are DT rushing its much easier to tech to HT. Im not able to say is colossus or HT better as a unit, because they both have their pros and cons.

atm it is a bit hard to tech to HT's. clearly favoured by collossi

Go collosi first, then when you have 2-3 bases, tech to templar because they are very good as well, and dont get own by mass vikings

Maybe try to go colossus, and as soon as the terran player has decided to go for viking change to templar and own him .

Is there any time when itd be better teching to templars BEFORE col? I dunno Im just wondering vs some sort of high energy unit to make use of feedback while storm is researching?

if you DT rush then its better to go HT before colossi
