its harder to attack decently then defend. The art of constant harassment is difficult to master, though the all in nub rushes on lower lvls take no skill.

you make me remember my time as a noob.

I still remember I figured it was wise to send your second card in age 2 and not in age 1, increased my pr by 5-6 or something.

Also I think I've skipped the all-out rush part of the game

The only thing I would do is move japan to tier one. They aren't the no.1 civ but that's where I would put them.

the thing with japan is maps that have little food or a free tower, this is where i've always had the most trouble when dealing with them. the cherry wagons just > everything on those maps when the opponet has if lucky 2 little hunts and maybe 2 berry bushes to gather from. if playing on standard maps and are unlucky to get a japan opponet on say texas then chances are you'd be better off resigning.

The only thing is they can't really compete with Iro/India. Otto/China also own them hard, but then again they absolutely destroy Sioux and break even with France. So it's hard to know where they are...broken to say the least. Definitely a broken/OP civ on RE, but not top tier imo.

Japan goes to tier 1.5 IMO :-P

what makes ottos a tier 2 civ on RE?
just wondering cause I have alway thougth they where a tier 3-4 civ :?

starting TP, insane abus, ff for spahi/mams, strong fish boom. The starting TP made all their OP strats more viable

the portugeese are only UP in the begginning bc of eco once you get to fortress their units are the best of all civs, remembers to have lots of crates cards and to use the markets upgrades since u dont have vill cards. the portugal is the most fun civ imo escpecially organ guns, only problem with organs is that their siege is not so hot so for some buildings u will need to make a few petards

wth?  Why are India and iro so OP? Omg i've never seen anything OP in them except Agra fort rush? And What about Russia and Port? I thougt they Where Tier 1 also? -But im also just a noob

10/10 is really OP... and to mention just some other OP stuff:
- Sepoys, Gurkhas, Sowars and Zamburak at age 2! Oh, and I forgot Flails... :S
- Howdah OP! Just a pity you can't mass them :S 21
- Mahout take out light inf so easily. Exception: OP Yumis in mass... 21
- Otto consulate! Bombards so OP... <3 Especially in combination with Howdahs. 21
- No vill cards, but you get 1 vill with each shipment...

The only thing I hate about India is the long training time for units...

Iro are as OP as it gets in 1v1 tbh.  Just watch Sporting play...

Iro are as OP as it gets in 1v1 tbh.  Just watch Sporting play...

Yep Iro in 1v1 is easy mode for me. Still, jap is better and should be tier 1 in that list. (note Zuta's bias towards jap :p )
