Hey guys,
Have a question if anybody is able to help me with it.
Played a game 3v3 and won it, I was playing Brits and was luckey to get all the awards in game (top score, most killed etc)
There was another guy playing brits as well who was on the loosing team called Blackouter.
All my stats seem alot higher than his did at the end of the game but yet he got a much higher ELO rating than me for the game.
This is the link to the game stats:
http://www.agecommunity.com/stats/GameS ... _Supremacy
My elo score was 1629 and his was 2057.
Could someone who knows why this is please reply as i feel i may be doing something very wrong in game, this happens to me all the time
thx Kaiser

Re: Elo simple ladders question
The elo score is a running statistical score of all (in theory) your games. Your elo should show you going up or down as you win or lose, respectively. It has zero bearing on the game you just played other than to influence your current ELO.
hope that helps.

Re: Elo simple ladders question
Elo rating is not a reflection of how the player does in the game, it's a reflection of skill level (similar to PR).

Hi Zutazuta,
I had another look at it and it seems that I do have an overall Elo rating but it also breaks it out per game.
The game in question is this one
Encoulomb
KaiserSosa
shuny
Vs
ArKaiNe
blackouter
stellaa
http://aoe3.game-server.cc/rating2/play ... 911&page=2
Is this not an individual rating for this game? or is it taking my last score and adding to it ?

Re: Elo simple ladders question
Notice that the last 2 games you played, your elo loses a few points each time. This is the effect of a lost game on your over all elo. If you win, your elo will increase by a few points. Your personal stats at the top of the page display your current elo, this is where your elo score stands after the last game you played. There is no elo for individual games, that is not how it works.

Re: Elo simple ladders question
kaisersosa,
your rating changes every game and you can see how much you lost and won for each individual game you played, that's why it goes from 1630 for example to 1645. at the top of the page you see your current max elo, but if you browse through the pages you can see your elo at any given point in time.
on April 15th 2010 your team elo was 1544 after this game
Cr4ck3m
H?tlen
PERRACA
KaiserSosa
butadai
sugiyann
and no ingame stuff obviously has nothing to do with elo, just the difference between your and your opponents elo is what is important and decides how much you win when you win and how much you lose when you lose
