Yeah, Japan is apparently not that OP in soccer/football.
Anyway I agree with you, if you see the other penalties and how easy it is to hit one, you are totally stupid when you just hit the ball in a rage, just aim for a corner and shoot hard and you will almost always hit unless the keeper is an alien.

Did any of you ever shot a penalty? It definitely isn't that easy.

I did, though versing some total noob who was 1:40 high or something.
The point is, every single player can shoot a penalty successful, if the penalty isn't important (for example for fun or something), but if the penalty is important, the pressure gets so high it gets though, and that's where people (me including) make the mistakes.

I prefer being the goalkeeper at that kind of moments

Close game and bad luck for Portugal. After the spanish goal everything fell down, they lack experience and we could have used a more serious coach. I didn't like some of his changes in the starting 11.

Spain will fail hard. Their gameplay was ugly most of the times and they kept playing like italians until they scored a goal.

Also ROFLCOPTER at all that diving.

Actually i thought that spain played so much better than portugal and did deserve to win and there play style was far from ugly i thought -.-and the diving was from both sides especially when u have someone like ronaldo ....

But that wasnt a red card :S

Lol Ronaldo hardly touched the ball so there was no diving from him. Spain had a couple good chances in the first half, then scored a goal in offside and started playing pretty. And still they tried to spend up as much time as possible.

The first penalty that I remember ever taking is one that is eerily similar to the miss by the japan guy, except mine was square in the middle of the crossbar.

I practiced penalties after that, as part of developing my whole game.

I never missed another one in a game again.

But I completely agree with you, it's not near as easy as it looks.
