Just something I messed around with today, and I guess it worked vs a french colonel.

Card order is 700w, 700f, 600w, 600f, 8xbow. You go for dual rax bow/pike with steel traps + gangsaw asap.

if you do that why not triple rax xbow pike? :-P

going that crate heavy it could work

I used to do this with old ports vs japs, but then the fp dudes decided to boost the colonial musks with the cards and stuff.

I see that you did 13v age in both games. Have you tried 12v? I like the extra seconds to get my tc in the place I want. Even when there was no hunting dogs from start I'd age with 12v on sea maps to make sure that a rush wouldn't make things complicated.

Why not the tc in the middle of those two mines, in a iroquois-style? Since you're planning on going for an xbow/pike spam, that forward base would be hard as hell to tear down.

You should change your card order a bit though Drew. I do a BO really similar to this with Ports sometimes.

I think its best to go 700w/600w because then with the free hunting dogs, you can maximize your food gathering and don't really even need a market until the 600w comes. From there I usually go 700f for villager production followed with 8 cross or 700 c for up or huss.

Why not 600w before 700f?

600f is prob not worth a shipment here, zuta's card order is good
