6 Player FFA for FFA league, including me and Nav
A very interesting game for the FFA league running at heaven.
First it's 1v1, me Japs v Nav Aztec and then it goes like a normal ffa. The league is pretty cool and this game had special rules: you could only age when a player was knocked out. Check out this tourney, it's once a week and it's nice

Yeah, you only have to show up at the time and then you'll be added. And create an aoe heaven account, you never know when you may need it I have an account at most community sites :p

Agggghhhh... I hated that game. I had you completely pinned, Sporting. Looks like I'll need to use a real civ to beat you this time around.
Groovy.

I used to play aztecs in FFA and got flamed for it bc they are supposed to be the most OP in FFA.

That's what you thought, and it was indeed very good that you thought like that, as you didn't know I had 3+5+5 boats on water :p But yes, you'd only take me down if you had rushed all in one early on.I had you completely pinned, Sporting.

The problem with that is that my computer can't even look at the water, much less fight on it. (I'm on a laptop) There was nothing I could do.

Mine has a crappy graphics card, though. If one cannonball hits the water it freezes. The 7 hand mortar card even almost freezes it...

That was a pretty entertaining replay actually.

Re: 6 Player FFA for FFA league, including me and Nav
Interesting game.
Showed pretty clearly that the Japanese late game is probably one of the strongest and is definitely superior to the Indian late game.
Ridiculous numbers on those honored Ashigaru and Yumis, and his eco wasn't bad either.
I was expecting more from the French player but he never really made an army.
I think Nav would have done better but it seems he was playing the game too much like a 1v1, not an FFA (which is what usually happens to me).

Everyone else in that game was a noob, so I figured that if I killed Sporting I would be able to get to fortress and take them all out with ERK and arrow knights.
Groovy.

Yea unfortunately in FFA games it doesn't matter how much of a noob you are -- blue demonstrated that if you can wall up, attack and defend only when necessary, and build up all the way to industrial age with a 90+ villager economy, you can last all the way till the end if not win.
