imo, this series is nothing like band of brothers. this series was made hollywood style trying to suck in the broader audience with romance etc. There's nothing in this series that I couldn't have written. It's pure cookie cutter stuff imo. But that's just imo.

Part 5 was pretty good. I have a feeling there will be more action in the later episodes, since the Pacific War intensified in brutality as time went on. The beach landing scene on Peleliu was reminiscent of the opening to Saving Private Ryan.

Wait til they get to Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Then the blood will really start flowing... and the flamethrowers will really start flaming.

And I skipped Part 3. When I heard they were on leave with Aussie I chicks, I tuned out before the episode even began.

Episode 7 will be better. It's gonna be samurai sword vs. flamethrower action.

That's what I'm talking about.

Scoop, if you're digging it, then great. But a whole episode about falling in love in Australia just isn't my cup of tea. That's for the chicks. Did that sort of thing happen? Sure. Do I want to watch an episode about it? Nope. The other episodes have been OK, but lacks the soul of bob. But that's just me. And btw, I said that I could write it, not that I couldn't. You gotta lay off the sauce so early in the morning, lol.

Ill tell ya something, when Adder plays the "start running" samurai card it usually wipes out pretty much everything. Those flamethrowers better have a) huge range and b) amazing hit points and c) cojones the size of LaZy Tuga
