Huggy das Ding and Caesar vs Photon Aureus and x654646

Post by JBCaesar »

hey,

here is a very nice game vs some quite good players. Their mistake: Attacking Huggys tc while loosing to many units. Additionally the fast age up wasn't a good idea.
Das_Ding saved the game!!

Great game. Thought you were toast a few times. Particularly when Huggy's TC went down. But, Das Ding's muskets were overpowering at that point. Txs for posting.

Interesting cav start huggy. Not boomy enough for my liking but seems to work just fine. This is what happens when the top player of one team has the counter unit to the top player of the other team. Numbers should've changed to skirms for sure. (Also, lvl 40 brig and no early market surprised me) :P Well played guys.

It's better in 1v1s for sure. I just felt like doing something new, so i tried around with germans and got inspired by Caesár's dual stable with Sioux. I'm still working on that, though :P.

In 1v1 you'll usually get just 1 stable though and get xbows and pikes out of a rax or semi FF:

Yes, usually. It does not work in all matchups, but who would expect that? I even bet an India Captain and Japan Captain with it. Both did the normal Sepoy and Ashi stuff on RE. The India player couldn't do much when his Villager count reached 7 and the Ashis lost bad early on. Drew had some trouble with his Ottos, too ;).

I also worked on a native rush with germans, maybe i practice that one again and post one or two Recs as well.

I can imagine it working pretty well against China too, perhaps with sending the 8 xbows card.

Imho, it's lame to raid. Especially with 2 groups of cav during a fight!

That's where my vill count usually reaches 4-5.
I notice the raid after the battle is over...
