I've been playing iros for the past few days and I always seem to get thrown around by india. Any tips, strats, or guides would be extremely helpful thanks

india has one weakness , and that is fighting off a very early swarm , exploit this as iro through the BB rush. trust me i know what i am talking about , i have beaten several majors and lt. colonel india players on QS as iro

Big button is use a travois for a blockhouse then big button and spam tomos? then keane shipments or 700 wood for more tomo's?

no by bBB they just mean the 5 tomas, there is no travois big button, you get the travois when you aged to colonial

destructors concern is about right, iro don't beat india lefthanded, neither does india with them. it's a tough match for both
pressuring is all you can do, your answer to their pimped up camels are the 3 unit upgrade cards in colonial plus in late colonial you got your firepit on attack dance for the big, mostly decisive battle

i dunno why, but i can never get the 500 food in time for tomas...

1) Remove the 500 food card and put a 600 food card instead.
2) Remove the 600 food card because it sucks.
3) Decide if you are going to age up fast or not in discovery age.
4) I myself never age up fast, I go for aenna+kanya.
5) If you age up fast, send 6 aenna, 6 aenna and make tomas and perhaps big button too.
6) And even more important, have fun.

i never had the food card... and we're not talking about a normal iro rush, we're talking about how to beat india.

To Get the 500 food you need to keep all you vills but 1 or 2 to wood. Tomorrow ill post a rec of my iros when I get on my computer since I'm useing my I touch to post this.
