No. Not recently, I mostly cut my own hair and my sons, when I was in barbering school alot of the other students where surprised to see me give myself a line up.
When I graduated from barbering school and got my license I jumped into it full time at a local barber shop, being new I didn't have any clientle and found myself sitting around doing nothing most of the week which equals no cash flow.
I got frustrated and got a full time job because I couldn't afford my bills.
It seems like most of the big money is in cosmetology/salons unless your a barber with heavy clientle because salon workers do die jobs and so forth where it pays bigger money.
Have you ever heard of Flyods barber shop? they're sort of a music themed barber shop I was once considering getting a job there but they take a high % of their barbers earnings. http://www.floydsbarbershop.com

Re: This is what I have been occupied with.
Preston, that is simply awesome. Everyone needs to get their hair cut, no matter what the economy does. So in some sense, you're "recession-proof."
I agree that old-style barber shops are a dying breed. It's great that you are bringing some of that old spirit back.
Best of luck. We'll see you when you can make it back to ESO.
@ Soccer: LMAO ! Although personally I would be afraid of a Hackapell buzz... you might lose more than just your hair with that one!

Preston, I was looking for a hair cutter here in London, and my friend suggested SportClips I haven't gone yet, though. In the 6 months I've been here, I've only had 1 haircut... That's what Engineering class schedules do to you (34 hours per week...)

I hear that engineering is one of the toughest degrees to achieve, is this correct ?
I am considering going back to school and entering for this degree.
