Fan Patch for Dummies - Like myself

yes I'm a Fan Patch dummy and clueless on this.
Even though AgeSanc explains this, I'm confused because they give different options on what to do depending on what versions you have, and I have no idea if I have Patch Launcher.
The only thing that has been downloaded is the random game updates in the past through ESO when I have logged on.
So how should I handle getting this Fan Patch downloaded and installed ?

ZutaZuta is also on xfire quite frequently, if you have that and add him you could possibly get live help.

Update...
HI guys I downloaded the patch launcher and 1.1a fan patch. i followed the steps and I believed I installed everything ok. then I launched the game through the patch launcher, so can someone verify that this is the proper way to launch the fan patch ?
I'm not sure if this thing is actually running, the only way I suppose I can tell is if I play someone with the patch..

It will have loaded the correct patch if you go into game browser and most of the games say CRC mismatch

nah not true. I had it dled and it said CRC mismatch for all games, even the fp ones, so it doesn't necessarily mean its working. (this was before i actually got it to work)
