What AOE game do people play nowadays and is there much going on online?

aoe2 HD on steam and voobly is the most active age game. tons of people online and lots of patches and DLCs.
There are still people on aoe3, but not as much anymore. the community is located at eso-community.net
aoe1 remake just got announced, let's see how that goes.
some fans brought back aoeo on a private server.
