I'm 32 from Massachusetts, not to far from where Christopher Columbus landed, though I wish I was alive back then so when he landed I could tell him to get back in his Mayflower and go home :-P

I'm From NW Florida out in the Florida Panhandle. Near the sugar-white sands of the Emerald coast and the most beautiful beaches in the country. I turned 25 years old just 18 years ago.

I am NOT the oldest. Three others are older than I.

Ja, Cape Town is a lovely place to stay and it is one of the main tourist attractions of South Africa. If one of you ever visit Cape Town, make sure to visit the Castle (the oldest building in South Africa), go up the Table Mountain, etc. (I sound like a travel agent! :D )

However on the negative side (there is no such a perfect city/town  ), the crime level is very high and the goverment is doing very little to combact them! 8O

Anyway I love Cape Town and am proud of it. :D

I said "in the country" but Florida beaches are commonly on the lists of the best beaches in the world.

Our sand is pure white, as fine as sugar and doesn't get hot. Our water is cyrstal clear and is in many shades of aqua blue and green. Plus we don't have a Great White problem here. :P Just a Bull Shark problem.

Sounds like our beaches too. :D We are really lucky to have those beaches nearby. How far (minutes of driving) are you from the beach? The nearest beach for me is only 15 to 20 minutes of driving (depending on traffic! 8O )

LOL. Cape Town has very little problem with sharks. You are thinking of Durban beaches where there are some attacks. :D

I'm about 40 minutes from Panama City Beach and an hour from Grayton or Destin.

I see Clifton and Long beach are pretty popular.
