KAISER'S 2000th POST!

Post by Kaiser_von_Nuben »

To celebrate my 2000th post, I thought I would share an amusing story with you.

For the last two days, I have been making some cash at a law firm. I had to help some so-called "Harvard-educated legal giants" understand simple German correspondence (unfortunately, none of the documents I reviewed mentioned uhlans or doppelsoldners :( ). While sitting at a computer for 11 hours each day, I got to talking to myself. Images of AOE flashed through my mind. I felt happier. Grenadiers floated before my eyes. British vils started talking. When I looked at a new document, I said out loud: "Commandement?" There was no one in the room. So I opened another document: "Yeeess? I mean so." I was starting to enjoy this. After repeating several more British vil phrases, I completely forgot about my surroundings. Finally, a janitor came into the room and heard me say: "Hawkester." I then got up and headed for the rest room. As I stood, I said "I woll."

Well, I'm glad to be back home. I still have work to do, but at least I'm not shut into an office. Now I can say British musketeer phrases as loud and as often as I want in the comforts of my own apartment.

AVAUNCE !!!!

Wow, 2000 posts. I've written a book in here. And I'm not stopping, either. It is great to be part of such a tremendous group... as I've written before, N3O has been a major, positive development in my life. In here, I can mimic any villager I want 8)

See you all soon!

I had a professor in college that spoke mandarin. Mine's not so good. You could very well be right. Like I said before, my villy immitations need work...

hehe kaiser, doesn't surprise me, you always were an active member, if you couldn't participate in the games, you actually watched recs and were still somehow "present"

i don't know if your profession suits you.. you shoulda been a voice imitator for tv series or such :)

HA! I love that one too, especially when the Spanish musketeer says it. That dude is a mack!

@ Aaryn: I would love to be a voice actor. It's a really hard business to break into, unfortunately.
