Does anyone else love this quote found in our This Day in History box? 
'1940: Germany's Adolf Hitler makes a 'peace offer' to Britain, which Winston Churchill rejects outright.'
It wasn't just that Winston Churchill rejected his peace offer, but he rejected it outright! It just makes me laugh, and it just makes me picture these 2 historic people meeting up face to face where Hitler comes to Churchill to beg for peace and then churchill takes out his cigar and just laughs in his face!
