A good game vs Huggy, it's definitely tough to beat those fervorous priests! And there's an update: only today I found out that there's an upgrade in the church that gives them 15% more hp and 15% more speed! That's 480 hp 4.60 speed 5 attack priests! Holy ****
Credits to Huggy for beating my strat on a previous game, german FF on deccan > all

hm i think it's not that big of a difference, i'm glad as long as their attack stays the same^^
don't bother with those priests at all, go for his military, priests don't do much damage anyway
sporting, as i read your post, this game is not the game on deccan where huggy ff's, am i right??

No it is not, this one's on great plains.
Priests work as tanks first, and as healers when the battle as ended (either by pwnage or by retreat). They work just great vs RI and pikes, and lose vs cav. Musks, card strelets and card cossacks deal most of the damage while the priests absorb part of it. I'm just on a tough situation when I run out of musks, since they're the bigger damage dealers in the equation and protect priests from cav.

Priests also heal when they feel like doing so and go idle in the middle of a battle.

LOL, divine delight! It doesn't sound like these mean priests are doing anything peaceful to me!
Congrats on developing this extremely interesting new build. It just goes to show that you can really never know everything about this game, and there is always something new to try.
Did I ever tell you about my 3 surgeon/2 culverin FI with field hospitals and advanced balloons? There's a winner for you

Ben, those priests are out saving souls in the grand tradition. Bless 'em and kill 'em before they can sin, that way they are assured of going to heaven.

Yes, they are... they are soldiers in the service of the Lord ::/
Good point. This really identifies why they are so good, doesn't it? If they aren't infantry, RI really won't do much damage against them.
What's their resistance, btw?

10% RR. They give RI a tough time when they surround them
