Happy Post Holidays aka TG the 4th of July weekend is over!

Post by Palehorse »

Hope everyone survived. The weather was monsoon here. The neighbors with guns and fireworks kept the dogs and kids hiding in the house if the rain did not.

Really wanted to get online more but this site is blocked from work, and were are down to one working connection in the house, my gaming PC, leaving only rare wee hours for gaming or anything else.

Got online to start the weekend with an ESO visit only to have Windows update sap my dialup with stupid IE 8 download  .

Got to ESO this morning to find no FP games. Is this typical?

Anyway, looking forward to a nice regular work week.

Heading to Boston/Cambridge, MA the following one for work.

And happy 4th to you as well! I hope we don't make too many of the English types too mad...some of them may not even know what happened to cause the 4th of July celebrations over here...

As for the bolded part, you won't see many FP games unless you are level 32 or higher mostly. Stick to RE patch, it's not that bad really....

Yeh, there isn't many people hosting FP games, but still pretty easy to get a game with someone in N3O.

I can't believe that N3O is blocked from your work!

If only we had 4th July here in Australia. I didn't even know what it was until today!

Yeh, I'd only briefly heard about it on The Simpsons when I was younger, but never fully understood what it was.

Now I do 8)

Good luck, Palehorse. These things happen sometimes... you just never find time to play, and if you do, you're too tired ::/

Hope to see you on soon. Don't worry about the FP. If you're playing clan games, we're always on it.

Happy 4th of July :D While at my family's cabin on saturday night the cabin next to us was setting off a truckload of fireworks including one that was atleast 4ft long. So the way thier cabin property is set up it ends a couple feet short of the lake though we don't mind if they use it, so they were setting off thier fireworks over it. So my family went to the damn and watched. One of the guys who my cousin saw earlier at around 5 and was already a little drunk then was setting off the fireworks and got hit 2 times when the fireworks exploded and some of it cameback to him.

Unfortunately my family was unable to get the clay pigeon launcher out and shoot some of them this weekend. So we brought our guns up for nothing

damn my 4th sounds so boring compared to these lake and cabin stories..just mostly hung around the pool, ate some good food and relaxed as much as possible. Still lots of fun to me tho

Of course. This is America. How else are we supposed to fend off the Aztecs, Sioux and Iroquois, not to mention all the minor tribes sent against our homesteads by the French
