after I finally got the patch downloaded. I decided to try screwing around a little bit with china and I also wanted to test the tp wood decrease.
So to make a long story short; I shipped 300 wood as first card, builded an tp and went up with summer palace

In colonial I builded a wa asap and got a village up.I had 2 shipment rigth away and I used it to get 700 wood and 8 ckn
then i got a little lucky my opponent an ottoman player upgraded the traderoute so I had a steady income of recources.

I eventually lost because I did stupid mistakes all the time no vill production no scouting and so on,but the beginning was quite ok

So is this a viable start with china? it seemed solid but then again it was on great lakes where u get massive income from the tp-route
and I also got a nice 90 food tres in discovery age. And hrrm my opponent
wasnt really that good

I thougth I should ask u guys

i think a chinese player has in the most time enough problems with their population, that 200 wood should be used better for a village

Rather than 300 wood, send the tp card - you get a free tp and the next one's are cheaper as well. Send 600 wood as first card on aging and get a second one up along with war hut, extra village and queued old han. If they've left you alone this long, go on a shipment spam ...
