---I have a lot of things figured out using India (and I were be sharing my obervations and opinions later). However I find they are very weak against a strong rush (China or Russia). I have lost 3 times in the last 24 hours before I received my third card.
---So if anyone has a strat to get a BIG army before my third card is played I would love to here it. (Oh and the Agra Fort doesn't really help that much if 30 to 40 units are storming your HC against your 5-10.)

Using the Map Yukon for testing I was able to get 10 units 5 speoy/5 gurkha @ 5:10 and 20 units at 5:20.

This required doing the all villies to food after crates to get 800 food age up then back on wood. Aging up with Karni Mata (3 villies on wonder.) Ship 700 Food (saved shipement until age 2), Building rax and house once you have wood from wonder crates,2 villies on wood rest on gold after wonder crates. queue Gurkha ship 5 sepoys once next shipment is ready. No villie production post wonder. Keep queueing gurkha once coin is ready. This is a ridiculous sacrafice to get troops out the door this early and wouldn't suggest it.

I'm betting the 30-40 troops at 5:10 was on a map with some good starting resource crates. Please let me know what it was if you can remember. I've played China and don't hit 30 units at 5:10 cept on MAPs w/ Extra resource crates on startup. More like 6:10 on a normal map.

At a certain rank India is nothing short of screwed vs. a China/Russia rusher. I've watched the high level India replays and I never see anyone fending off a sub 6 minute Russia or China. It's always a FF or less early rush. I think the records where they die to an early rush just never get posted on forums.

You can see my recorded India win vs. China Here but that kind of win is Map dependant.

---Just my humble opinion but I think it is impossible to beat a good player using Russia or China as India. If someone has a recording of an India player beating a good Russian or CHinese player, please post it. I'd love to see how it's done.

There's ways to fend off the initial rush for a while but it'll put your economy in shambles while the China/Russia could keep a constant stream of units all day long.

Since you are Mr India all day long every day! I would suggest experimenting with white tigers and siberian tigers. You can create a food only early army that will out number an age 2 rush. China's FF?? Not much you can do about the ridiculous amount of diciples you get in age 3 age up. I believe Indians can get one of the largest pet armies in age 2 if you don't count Aztec's ability to convert tres guardians. You definately have more pet potential than you have food potential.

If you expect to get rushed as an Indian-Player age up with Agra-Fort (defensively). Try to build Sepoys and Sowars. China and Russia both have a weak Anti-Cav and Chinas Disciples will fall to your Sepoys (also cossacks will).

If a China-Player goes FF it is pretty hard to defeat him. Maybe a semi-ff is the best choice to get Urumis and Howdahs asap. Howdahs can beat those Mortars and Urumi everything else. Make sure you can support them with your TC-Fire and some Sepoys and Mahouts (in age 3). It is pretty hard and you have to micro a lot.
