i just downloaded this replay from agesanc , and i have to say ''what a game!'' the civs are spain vs. brits on yucatan, and involves some very nice booming and fighting. surprisingly this game wasn't voted Game of the Week but i have no doubt it was in the top 3 list. good watch for anyone wanting to learn spain or british b.o.'s on fanpatch 1.1 or wishing to view an action packed game

I'll check it, since I don't know who won yet (I'm gonna hope that the spain wins).

Boo! Ourk only won this game cause TLS was an inferior player... That sea boom was too defensive for my likes. TLS only had "musk abuse vs spain" in his mind and there were several situations that were plain suicidal (that first one I dunno how he came out of it while still having some musks standing). And no sea? No sea vs sea is just a matter of time for the sea one to win well done by Ourk anyway

i liked this game mainly for a spain (as voted by most as worst civ) outbooming , outmassing, and thrashing one of the top tier civs (dutch/brits). ourk should have lost the game when his town was gutted but he came back and laid the law pretty good on the brit. was also nice seeing a spain player effectively beat musket--cannon with a smaller force. also nice seeing rods chase down and kill everything after that zapotec tech was researched :-P

I would have liked to see the same on land, tho :p

i downloaded the game before you posted it here dan and i agree it is awesome.

still, it doesn't show anything as sporting said

he would stand no chance vs a better brit player with his spaniards.
that's why i don't like this typical "a better player beats a weaker one by even using an inferior civ"
ppl start to get used to it, try it for themselves and fail
