u can only watch replays using AOE3
start the game (single player) and its under options and settings

You need to save the games to the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Savegame

Then run the game, and click on the "help and tools", another menu will appear and you choose "recorded games". Open the game you want to watch.
