Wetmelon, I think you overlooked some of the prizes ;)

Anyone can win something.
Prizes

The prizes for the $2000 2v2 Fan Patch Cup are as follows:

1st: US$800 ($400 for each team member)
2nd: US$400 ($200 for each team member)
3rd: US$200 ($100 for each team member)
4th: US$150 ($75 for each team member)
5th: US$100 ($50 for each team member)
6th: US$100 ($50 for each team member)

Best Gameplay

At the conclusion of the tournament, the community/staff will vote on which team exhibited the best gameplay of the tournament. This is a chance for anyone to be in the running for a prize if they devise a great strategy and make it work, or perhaps if they fight extremely hard to win their games. The conditions for this community vote will be set down in a later announcement.

Any team that places 1st to 6th in the final standings is ineligible for the best gameplay award.

Winning team of the best gameplay: US$50 and 2x Platinum VIP AgeSanctuary membership (US$25 and 1x Platinum VIP AgeSanctuary membership for each team member)

Runner-up team of the best gameplay: US$50 and 2x Gold VIP AgeSanctuary membership (US$25 and 1x Gold VIP AgeSanctuary membership for each team member)

I won't see your getting the guy who caused him to act like a nublet and only get 5 units out by 8:10. ;)

P.S. I'll let you work out all the details I'll just turn up and look pretty.

I love ze 2v2's and would love to take part in this. Looking about the same PR range Tubruk is: 22 - 27 +/- 2, but I'm not picky..

I think I will enter this with Chocosanta.
We played NaturePhoenix and Starsky today, we outmicro'd em early game but they have far better knowledge of how to play sea and whooped us late-fortress.
I do have one gripe, NaturePhoenix winning - I sincerely hope he gets knocked as soon as possible, the fact that he abandoned the game once it wasn't profitable and is coming back now to take the cash is pretty underhand in my opinion, and isn't in the spirit of gaming.
Much rather a character who still plays like Mayh3m or Challe was to sweep it.
Also him taking 1st in the world after 1 game on ELO was pretty stupid too.

If anyone needs a partner who can expertly spam OP Keshiks and Steppes from a castle, then shoot me a PM.

Keshiks are OP...???

I like my Uber OPness with the new Sioux, bashed some crappy comps online yesterday. Their War clubs still suck.

Lol I love that math of x units plus y units at z minutes wins. Especially when the civs sacrifice their eco to lose everything for a couple shipments and minutemen.
