Re: Funny Screenshots
you'd be surprised , look at this website :
http://www.nativeamericans.com/Natives.htm
here is a quote ( paragraph 3 ) :
''It is not possible to determine exactly how many languages were spoken in the New World before the arrival of Europeans or how many people spoke these languages. Some scholars estimate that the Western Hemisphere at the time of the first European contact was inhabited by 40 million people who spoke 1,800 different tongues. Another widely accepted estimate suggests that at the time of Columbus more than 15 million speakers throughout the Western Hemisphere used more than 2,000 languages; the geographic divisions within that estimate are 300 separate tongues native to some 1.5 million Native Americans N of Mexico, 300 different languages spoken by roughly 5 million people in Mexico and Central America, and more than 1,400 distinct tongues used by 9 million Native Americans in South America and the West Indies.''

CAPTION : Who said all the Dutch were nice?
2. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2716/45uhlans.jpg
CAPTION : This is to prove that I DID build 45 uhlans in 11:25.
3. http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/3023/protestants.jpg
CAPTION : Mean protestants from Northern Europe with really big swords and grenades that go "bang" in your houses, banks, markets and town centers.

First shots are a sequence to see how fast 526 colonial militia can die. There is a verified 90/second or so death ratio.
Some weird sheep pics in here, too. :?
By the way - look at screen5.jpg to see what happens to Kaiser's Uhlans when they lose that killer instinct.

Re: Funny Screenshots
My uhlans would never commit atrocities against livestock like that... slander, I say!
As for the heavy cannon vs. colonial militia, isn't that the way artillery actually would affect a large body of tightly-packed soldiers?? In other words, there is no substance to AOE claims that a cannonball will not knock a hussar down.

I always wondered stuff like this myself, but I guess I came to the conclusion that with a 200 pop limit, each unit tends to represent a much larger group. So one hussar may represent 100 hussars? So maybe a cannonball might get one, but the majority will still get away..idk where im going with this anymore lol ::/
