Ventrilo and me!

Post by ruminator »

Just bought a new USB mic and unsure if it works or not, the settings keep resetting to my old 3.5 mic port. So if you see me on Vent and I don't answer, I'm not being rude I'm just having set up issues!

No problem buddy. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Try Googling your mic problem, and see what comes up. There may be a solution.

On the setup screen, you need to select your input/output devices. If your using a usb mic, then it should be listed as one of the devices in the list.
When you hop on vent, if anyone like myself, lazy, djdan or adder is on, just "private chat" us for help on setting up and we'll help you get it sorted.

Thanks. I've checked the intergoogle as well and there may be a problem with vista 64 compatability. This was supposedly sorted with SP1 but something to check when I get home ...

I'm running Vista 64, no problems at all, be sure to have the right client version and run as admin if needed.
