well my 1st Pc which runs visa has had everything i can possibly do to it to help connection and "fail to join" inc. port forwarding. Had a brief fit of perfection and then decided to mock me

so i got out my old laptop that has a smoking, crashing, and well alot of problems, including several death threats if it wont connect :twisted:

and with my laptop it could connect to anyone at anytime of the day but today it changed its mind (personally i blame kristop )

are there any networking or any technical masterminds that can help me with my connection issues?

open the MS-DOS Prompt on both computers and type

ipconfig /all

and post both results here.

I guess, the laptop gets a different IP than your new PC and so the port forwarding rules must be adjusted in the router

yeah iv decided to bin the laptop

so i only need help with the PC (vista)

and comadevil i dont feel comfortable posting such information on a public site unless its safe to do so, is it?

Lazy had problems with vista and fixed them somehow. Try talking with him.
