Drew v. Kaiser on Carolina

Post by Kaiser_von_Nuben »

I hope Drew doesn't mind me posting this :D This is my most feared matchup: German v. Aztec. Drew gives me a sound drubbing, but I think I hold my own relatively well and I'm happy I at least got most kills and stopped his rush. Stopping a fish boom... well, that's another question ;)

On a more substantive note, German v. Aztec is really tough from the German side. I made a special deck to counter them, but Drew's superior play does me in. GG buddy.

I agree.
Just started playing them, and find they're even more fun in Fortress with all the knights "coming out to play"! 8)

That's true, Joe. Mac gave us a run for our money with those SKs last night in a clan game. But I had 20 range jinetes... hit-n-run bags the skulls around, unfortunately.

About this game, I was surprised how misled I was about Drew's anti-cav. He managed them so well! I had about 12 uhlans at one point and he only had 1 puma, 2 jags and I think an injured SK. Still, massed maces seem to do well against uhlans, especially when they are trying to run around houses... pathing issues FTW!
