Eco managing

Just a thought.

If you have to much of a resource, paradoxically, you can use it to gain the other resources, because, an eco upgrade for a particular resource is normally a combination of the other two resources.

Examples:

Too much wood:

Use it to gain the gold upgrades from the market, plantation, or the food upgrades from the market and farms.

Use it to build another TC to produce more settlers.

Use it to build farms/plantations.

To much food:

If you have a FP, use production dance to pump out settlers.

Use the food to get the gold & wood upgrades in the plantation/market.

To much gold:

Fd, Wd upgrades again.

Or ship mercs.

(No doubt someone may suggest that's what the market's for! - but you loose resources that way).

Another great tip:

In terms of VS, you lose only a few resources when you buy wood and when you sell food so avoid selling wood and buying food at all costs and exploit the market system :D

I disagree on the wood portion. Your goal should always be to get that 2nd and 3rd TC up as soon as possible. It shouldn't be because you have excess. Excess wood should be used for housing, upgrades (like u said), TP's, or extra rax/stable/arsenal.
